Roberto Fabbri's Biography



Roberto Fabbri has an extremely active career as a fine performer, composer, teacher and writer. He studied under the guidance of Carlo Carfagna at the Conservatory of "Santa Cecilia" where he graduated in 1986 with full honours; subsequently he achieved the diploma of bachelor in music with 110 and praise.
He has developed his musical career as a soloist, and with the famous guitar quartet "Nexus".
Mr. Fabbri is regularly invited to perform ad take Master Class in many international guitar festivals and to judge at international competitions around the world.

Besides his work as a performer, Roberto Fabbri has written numerous compositions for guitar.
He is the headmaster and teacher of classical guitar at the Academy "Novamusica e Arte" in Rome.
At present he teaches classical guitar at the Institute of High Artistic and Musical Formation "Giulio Briccialdi" in Terni.

As an organiser, he is the artistic director of “Festival Chitarristico Internazionale Città di Fiuggi”.

He also contributes to the magazine "Chitarre", as the editor in charge of the classical section of the magazine.
Roberto Fabbri has carried out an intense didactic and editorial activity, cooperating with different publishing houses (Anthropos, Berben, Playgame, EMR, Warner Bros, Carisch).

He plays a Ramirez 125° Anniversary 2007 n°1 and use “La Bella” srtings.
