"Guitar Master" ha sido concebido por la necesidad de adecuar la metodología de la enseñanza de la guitarra a las necesidades actuales de docentes y alumnos "adultos".

Estructurado en "secciones" para facilitar el trabajo según la disponibilidad, los conocimientos y las capacidades de cada alumno.

Parten desde lo más básico a lo no tanto:

- colocación del instrumento,
- ejercicios de técnica "fundamental",
- los arpegios para la mano derecha,
- ejercicios con las cuerdas al aire,
- ejercicios sobre ligados,
- las escalas en todas las tonalidades mayores, menores armónicas y melódicas, en dos octavas, etc.

Y sobre todo incluye mucho repertorio ordenado por dificultad.

Al final del libro se proponen consejos para la elección del instrumento, el mantenimiento del mismo así como un útil glosario de términos concernientes a la guitarra.
